I am an experienced Community Services Professional specialising in the Alcohol and Drugs and Mental Health sectors, and the Queensland State Manager for Family Drug Support Australia.
My counselling style is aligned with the humanistic theory of person-centred counselling, which provides a non-directive, empathetic and non-judgmental approach that is both empowering and motivating, and ensures the process remains transparent at all times.
My passion is supporting people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally diverse communities. My son Jack is a descendent from the Bidjarra and Kara Kara peoples from Central and Central Western Queensland.
If you live in Queensland and I can be of help, I am usually available to take appointments on Thursdays between 10am and 1pm. Once you have made contact, I can usually reply within 72 hours to confirm the day and time. If you require support in the meantime, you can contact our 24/7 telephone support service on 1300 368 186.
