My name is Woniya Thibeault and I have been studying and teaching ancestral skills for over 20 years. I have spent long periods living wild (most recently on History’s Alone Season 6), off grid, and practicing wild life ways. Teaching land-based living skills is my passion. I believe these skills are an important way to connect with the land around us, ourselves and our human past, and our human and greater than human communities. I specialize in brain tanning and buckskin clothing; fiber arts such as felting, spinning, knitting, and cordage; basketry; wild foods and food storage, off grid and homestead skills, and natural history and nature connection practices. Contact me to organize a time for mentorship in any of these subjects. Alternatively to discuss broader wilderness skills, survival and primitive survival skills, or my experience on History’s Alone Season 6, or related subjects, contact me at sage.fm/Woniya-wilderness-alone
